The processing of your personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Data we process

Account: your email address (used as your sign-in identifier), your preferred language and, if you provide them, your name, phone, postal address, website and social-media profiles.

Listings: the information and photos of the properties you publish; they are by nature intended for public display.

Tenant file and applications: the documents you upload voluntarily (ID, certificates, debt-collection extract…), stored encrypted and transmitted only to the advertisers you apply to.

Alerts and favourites: your search criteria and the associated email address.

Messages: the content of contact forms sent to advertisers.

Technical data: server logs (IP address, timestamps), audience-measurement and anti-abuse data.

Purposes of processing

We process this data to: provide the service (account creation, publishing and searching listings, connecting seekers and advertisers); send service emails (sign-in link, search alerts, notifications about your listings and applications); invoice professional accounts; measure and improve the service through usage statistics; keep the platform secure and prevent abuse; comply with our legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics

Rolimmo.ch uses technical cookies required for sign-in and operation, the Google Analytics 4 audience-measurement tool, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against abusive publications.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable.

Recipients and processors

We rely on technical providers that process certain data on our behalf: hosting on servers in Europe; Cloudflare (delivery, security and inbound email routing); Brevo (service emails); Google (audience measurement).

Since published listings are public, they may also be automatically relayed on our official social-media pages (Facebook, Instagram).

We never sell your personal data.

Transfers abroad

Some providers process data outside Switzerland, notably in the European Union and the United States. These transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the Swiss Federal Council or on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods

Your account data is kept as long as the account is active; account deletion, available at any time in your settings, genuinely erases your data.

Applications and tenant-file documents are automatically purged within short periods once re-letting is concluded.

Accounting records (invoices of professional accounts) are kept for ten years in accordance with Swiss law.

Your rights

Under the FADP, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to receive your data in a common format.

You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Security

Communication with the site is encrypted (TLS). Sensitive tenant-file documents are encrypted at rest. Data access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.

We may adapt this policy, in particular as the service or the legal framework evolves. The current, dated version is published on this page.
